Arya Yuva Samaj is the youth movement of the Arya Samaj, rooted in the Vedas and inspired by Maharishi Dayanand. We bring young people together to lead with character, serve with compassion, and build a stronger nation.
Who We Are
Arya Yuva Samaj carries the founding spirit of the Arya Samaj into the lives of today's youth. The Arya Samaj was founded by Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati on the belief in the Vedas and on a life of truth, discipline, and service to others. Arya Yuva Samaj takes that inheritance to young men and women across the country, channelling their energy towards purposeful living, self-control, and nation-building.

Our Movement: No Nasha Nation
Our flagship initiative is No Nasha Nation, a nationwide call to free young India from addiction. It was launched from Haryana on 7 December 2025 with the vision of building an addiction-free and healthier society.
The launch was marked by 101 Kundiya Hawans organised by DAV Public Schools, DAV Colleges, DAV Aided Schools and Arya Samajs across Haryana. The campaign then gained momentum through its next phases during January, February and March 2026. In this period, alongside sensitising students, the movement organised more than 60,000 Hawans at over 600 public places across Haryana, with the participation of more than three lakh people.
No Nasha Nation has grown into a powerful social movement, uniting educational institutions, social organisations and the community in a collective effort to create a drug-free and morally empowered nation. It is more than a campaign against addiction. It is a broad movement for sanskar, health, a Vedic way of life and nation-building, working to give the coming generations a safer, more aware and stronger India.
Our work rests on a simple belief, carried in the movement’s own words: when the youth awaken, the family awakens; when the family awakens, society changes; and when society changes, the nation becomes free of addiction. Every young person, in this vision, becomes a messenger of Vedic values and a contributor to the growth, unity and prosperity of the nation.
The movement reaches young people through a range of activities: Kundiya Hawans that bring communities together, awareness rallies through streets and localities, slogan-writing, poster-making and flyer-making competitions, student-made awareness videos, nukkad nataks and cultural performances, and signature campaigns and collective pledges. Every programme ends with young people taking a pledge to lead a drug-free life and to carry that message back to their families and neighbourhoods.
